TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Dogs must be kept on lead at all times, unless otherwise directed to remove the lead by one of the Instructors.
2. Handlers must retain hold of the lead at all times, unless otherwise directed by one of the Instructors.
3. Dogs must not be left unattended in cars.
4. Harsh handling will not be tolerated.
5. Check chains (choke chains), prong collars, half chokes, electric/shock collars or any other pieces of aversive equipment are not allowed. Whether a piece of equipment is aversion is up to the discretion of Woofer & Pup Dog Training.
6. Should the dog foul the area (either inside or out) the handler must clear up. Cleaning and disinfectant equipment and products will be available for your use. Poo bags must either be taken home or placed in the designated receptacle.
7. Please do not bring your dog to classes if he/she is unwell. Do come along yourself. If we are introducing a new exercise or extending an existing exercise, you will be able to work on it at home with your dog once it has recovered.
8. In the event that your dog has been exposed to an illness please do not bring your dog to class. As in 7 above, do come along yourself.
9. No bitches in season permitted.
10. Any accidents involving a person and/or a dog at the training venues must be reported to one of the Instructors immediately and entered into the Incident Book.
11. Cars are parked at the owner’s risk. Woofer & Pup Dog Training does not accept any responsibility for any damage caused to cars or property howsoever caused.
12. All personal property is brought at owner’s risk. Woofer & Pup Dog Training does not accept any responsibility for any damage to said property howsoever caused.
13. An up-to-date vaccination certificate must be produced before your dog is allowed on the training premises.
14. Handlers aged 15 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
15. Woofer & Pup Dog Training reserves the right to refuse entry to a dog considered to be a danger to any other member or their dogs.
16. It is the owner’s responsibility to maintain control of their dog at all times. Owners are responsible for any injury and/or damage caused by their dog. Woofer & Pup Dog Training accept no responsibility for injury to person/s or dog/s and/or damage to property.
17. No dogs of a breed that is banned in the UK, or crosses thereof, will be permitted.
18. The right is reserved to request any persons to leave the premises that are abusive to any other person or dog.
19. Woofer & Pup Dog Training reserve the right to use any photographs taken in publicity, web-site and any other form of media.
Payment and Cancelation Policy
Payment needs to be received 5 days before the course start date, or you risk losing your place.
A full refund will be given if you cancel a booked course/s with 5 days notice of the course start date. Cancellations within 5 days of the course/s start date result in courses being non-refundable.
No refund will be given if you fail to complete a Course.
Short Notice Cancelation
Woofer & Pup Dog Training operates a policy of fairness to all, which is, of course, common courtesy.
In the event that you are unable to attend a class:-
Please give as much notice as possible, but, if short notice, please try to inform Woofer & Pup by 9.00 a.m. on the day the class is due to be held.
In the event that Woofer & Pup Dog Training has to cancel a class at short notice:-
All efforts will be made to notify you, including making an announcement on the Woofer & Pup Facebook page, but, if this results in an answerphone message being left on your telephone, it is your responsibility to check your messages before you leave home.
Therefore, please ensure that the number you have given Woofer & Pup Dog Training is one at which you can be reached at short notice and has an answerphone facility upon which a message can be left.
COVID-19 restrictions and procedure
All efforts will be made by Woofer & Pup Dog Training to comply to current government restrictions and advice concerning COVID-19 during classes and/workshops, held both indoor and outdoor. You agree to follow any restrictions and guidelines set out by Woofer & Pup Dog Training in regards to COVID-19 during, immediately before and after any classes/workshops attended.
If you test positive, or have come into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 14 days, you agree to contact Woofer & Pup Dog Training immediately to inform them.
In the event Woofer & Pup Dog Training is informed of a confirmed positive COVID-19 incident, we will contact all concerned parties and reserve the right to suspend classes indefinitely.
If the government guidelines and/or restrictions change and result in the immediate and indefinite suspension of classes, Woofer & Pup Dog Training will contact all clients.
Refunds in relation to COVID-19 cancellations, either by you or by Woofer & Pup Dog Training, will be discussed on a individual bases, and are at Woofer & Pup Dog Training’s discretion. Refunds may only be partial depending on how much of the course has been completed.
